This wording (the use of the word “deserve”) implies that those are born with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or those who do end up with permanent injuries because of accidents somehow deserve what they get. Which is kind of ableist and I don’t think that was your original point. I find it detracts from your argument because all I can think about is the implication that my friends and family somehow deserve their health issues.
